COLUMBUS, NC - Grace Shehan Abrams 83, of Columbus, NC passed away Monday afternoon, April 2, 2012 in Ridge Rest Nursing Center, Columbus, NC.Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Nettie Newton Shehan. Mrs. Abrams was a seamstress for many years. She was a lontime member of Sandy Plains APR Church and was the widow of Charles Abrams who died in 1997.Surviving are two brothers, Daniel Shehan of Mill Spring, NC and Wayne Shehan of Green Creek, NC. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in Sandy Plains ARP Church with Rev. Jim Mitchell officiating.Burial will be in Sandy Plains ARP Church Cemetery.The family will receive friend prior to the service from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. in the church.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive,
