Landrum, SC - Gloria Jean Staton Webb, 70, of Ridge Road, Landrum, SC died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills House, Landrum, SC.Born in Baltimore, MD on August 24, l943 she was the daughter of the late Daniel T. and Mary Hudson Staton. She was the widow of Gale C. Webb who died in 2000. Gloria was a member of the Tryon Church of God, Tryon, NC. She was a loving wife and mother and a beautiful reflection of Christ to all who were privileged to know her. Surviving is her daughter, Lisa Webb of the home; special daughters, April (Larry) Rhoden , Kim (Royston) Brian of Boiling Springs, SC; special granddaughters, Amanda and Jessica Rhoden, Courtney Brian and Christie (Trevor) Greer. She was "Grandma Gloria" to Melissa Ravan and Jodi Smith, special friend to Beth Tucker and her loving caregiver Sherri Westbrook.Graveside services will be held 11:00am Thursday, October 10, 2013 in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC with Rev. Ken Jenkins and Rev. Lester Lambert officiating.Family will receive friends from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm Wednesday night in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.The family would like to say a special thanks to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
