Gladys Norris Sain, 80, of 8470 Holbert Cove Road, Saluda, NC died Friday, June 4, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Gaffney, SC. Born in Warthen, GA, she was the daughter of the late Ovie and Helen Davis Norris.She was the widow of Leroy Sain who died in 1987. Mrs. Sain was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are: a son, Timothy Sain (Annette) of Saluda, NC; three daughters, Elaine Price (Jerry) of Mill Spring, NC, Kari Ruff (Calvin) of Mill Spring, NC, and Wanda Reynolds (Ray) of Gaffney, SC; Two sisters, Ruth Jackson (Milton) of Warthen GA and Marie Massey of Polk County, FL. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, William Frank Sain and Carl Ray Sain. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Rev. Dean Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Baptist Church cemetery, Mill Spring, NC. Family to receive friends just prior to the service on Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.
