GREER, SC - Gladys Mary Ball Rainey, 83, of Greer died Sunday evening, January 14, 2007 in St. Francis Hospital, Greenville, SC. Born in Furgality, PA, she was the daughter of the late Grier and Mary McHugh Ball and widow of James Frederick Rainey, Sr. who died in 2005. Surviving is one son, James Frederick Rainey, Jr. of Annapolis, MD and one daughter, Suellen Mary best of Tryon, NC; one sister, Sally Riggs of Pittsburgh, PA. Also surviving is one grandchild. No services are planned.
