COLUMBUS, NC- Gladys Elsie Hedigan, 96 died Thursday March 22, 2007 in Autumn Care of Saluda, Saluda, NC. Born in Lowell, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Ada White Miller. She was the widow of Peter Sardi and Joe Hedigan. She was a member of Tryon Christian Science Church. Surviving include: one sister, Shirley Dilberger of Florida; four nephews, Charles Howe of Florida, Peter Howe of Mississippi, Malcolm Shaw of New York, and Arthur Shaw of New York; three nieces, Cathy Calure of South Carolina, Cheryl Swayne of Kansas, and Marianne Foster of Washington. Mrs. Hedigan was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Miller and Robert Miller and a sister Marion Shaw.A private service will be held at a later date.
