Geraldine Searcy Price, 83, of Columbus, passed away, Saturday evening, May 21, 2022 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.A native and lifelong resident of Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Hester Searcy and wife of the late William Clyde Price who passed away in 1999. Mrs. Price was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Price.Surviving is one daughter, Debra Price of Flat Rock; three sons, Daniel Price (Cathy) of Etowah, Clay Price of Forest City and Brad Price of Columbus; nine grandchildren, Brandon Price, Alex Becker, Kelsey McEntire, Amy Becker, Ethan Price, Adam Becker, Brittany Price, Jackson Price and Kaylee Solesbee; ten great-grandchildren, Cole Huntley, Callie Huntley, Camdyn McEntire, Macie Becker, Zander Becker, Tucker Price, Chapman McEntire, Delilah Solesbee, McKenna Price and William Becker; two brothers, Garland Searcy of Mill Spring and Milo Searcy of Mill Spring; one sister, Dallie Searcy Cox of Hendersonville.The family will receive friends Thursday evening, May 26, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.A private graveside service will be held.
