Geraldine Smith Ledford, 73, of Green Creek passed away, Thursday afternoon, July 22, 2021, at Autumn Care of Saluda.Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Otis Smith and Pearline Gosnell Bridgeman. Mrs. Ledford worked many years at Tryon Estates as a C.N.A. She enjoyed artwork and spending time with her family.Surviving is her husband of 53 years, James H. Ledford; two sons, Shannon Ledford, and Jason Kimpton both of Green Creek; one daughter, Cindy Arledge of Mill Spring; three sisters, Lou Dimsdale of Tryon, Ruby Smith of Landrum, and Susan Surrett of Gowensville; three brothers, Paul Townsend of Gun Barrel City, TX, Randy Bridgeman of Landrum and Larry Bridgeman of Spartanburg; five grandchildren, Makala Ledford, Austin Ledford, Hunter Ledford, Gary Lee Primus and Christopher Primus; four great-grandchildren, Robbie Primus, Paisley Primus and Ryanne Primus.A memorial service will be held at a later date.
