SALUDA, NC - George Michael Tillotson, 39, of Saluda, NC passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Autumn Care of Saluda.Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Jerry Michael and Ximena Berrios Tillotson of Marion, NC. Mr. Tillotson moved to Polk County, NC in 1987 coming from Virginia Beach, VA. He was a creative artist and writer.Surviving in addition to his parents are four sisters, Jessica Probst (Michael) of Mill Spring, NC, Marie Woody of Marion, NC, Samantha McDonald of Lynchburg, VA and Gretchen Blair of Spartanburg, SC; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Ophir Berrios of Spartanburg, SC.No services are planned.The family would like to thank Jane Foster and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills for their care to Mr. Tillotson.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
