Tryon, NC - George Franklin Sevier, 93, of Moore Road, Tryon, NC died Tuesday, June 08, 2010 in Smith-Phayer Hospice House, Landrum, SC.Born in St. Michaels, MD, he was the son of the late Edna C. Donovan and William J. Sevier. He had lived in Polk County since 2008 coming from Delmar, Delaware Surviving is: his wife of 27 years, Mary Laughter Sevier; two sons, William J. Sevier, II and Huey J. Sevier and two daughters Marilyn Townsend and Georgia A. Sevier.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., June 19, 2010 in All Saints Episcopal Church, Delmar, Delaware with Father Custer Ruley officiating.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
