Tryon, NC -- George Allen Case, 56, of Will Green Rd., Tryon, NC died Saturday, March 17, 2007 in Upstate Carolina Medical Center in Gaffney, SC.Born in Bat Cave, NC, he was the son of the late Stanford and Lucile Nichols Case. He was a veteran of the US Army and was employed with Edney Construction for the past 10 years. He was of the Baptist Faith.Surviving is one daughter, Tammy R. Jackson (J. J.) of Columbus, NC. Two sisters, Molly Price of Tryon, NC and Ann Mitchem (D.C.) of Spartanburg, SC. One brother, Danny Case (Sophia) of Tryon, NC. Specials friends, Sandra Fowler and Tonya and Terry Holmes all of Jonesville, SC. Also 3 grandchildren, Jordon, Conley and Bryce Holmes of Jonesville, SC. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Mill Spring, NC with Rev. Jerry Jackson officiating.The family will receive friends 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2007 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC.The family will be at the home of his sister, Molly Price, 4013 S. Hwy. 9, Tryon, NC.
