Columbus, N.C. - George Bennett Anderson, 93, of Skyuka Road, Columbus, NC died Saturday, February 3, 2007 at his home.Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late John and Emma Holtman Anderson. Mr. Anderson moved from River Woods, IL to Polk County in 2001. He was the former Vice President of Trinity Seminary, Deerfield, IL for many years and had been very active in Christian work his entire life.Surviving is his wife, Edna Knudsen Anderson of Columbus, NC; two sister-in-laws, Phyllis Knudsen of Charlotte, NC and Millicent Knudsen of Rockford, IL; many nieces and nephews and many friends across the United States.Mr. Anderson will be sent to the Olsen Funeral Home, Rockford, IL for Funeral services to be held in the chapel of Fairhaven Nursing Center.Burial will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield, WI.
