Landrum, SC - Genelle Price Phillips, 94, of Landrum, SC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in White Oak Manor, Tryon, NC.She was the daughter of the late James H. and Annie Burriss Price. She was a member of Tryon First Baptist Church and was retired from Landrum Mills.She was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by four grandchildren: Cynthia Phillips of Columbus, Bryan Phillips (Crystal) of Tryon, NC; Kimberly H. Smith (Ricky) of Campobello, SC and Cassie H. Davis (Kenneth) of Spartanburg, SC; one son-in-law, Johnny Hutcherson of Landrum, SC; as well as a sister, Kathleen Culbreth of Landrum, SC and one great grandchild, Alexis Phillips. She was predeceased by a son, James "Jimmy" Phillips, and a daughter, Pamela K. Hutcherson; a brother, Robert Odell Price, and sisters, Minnie Price Gosnell and Myrtle Price Smith.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday March 22, 2013 in Polk Memorial Gardens with Dr. Darryl Maxwell officiating. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Dr. Columbus, NC 28722.The family will be at their respective homes.
