Green Creek, NC- Frederick Denis Evanoff, 81, of Coxe Road, died February 20, 2009 in his home. Born in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late Frederick and Martha Kosczark Evanoff and the widow to his first wife Faye Boss Evanoff, who died in 1997. Mr. Evanoff had been a resident of Polk County for eight years and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by, his wife, Beverly Bastolla Evanoff, of the home; one son, Gerald Evanoff of Newton Falls, OH; one daughter, Rani Pigg of Newton Falls, OH; three step daughters, Debbie Holt of Green Creek, NC, Nancy Coull of Port St. Lucie, FL and Holly Monahan of New Windsor, NY; two step sons, Jon Webb of Stafford Springs, CT and Homer M. Webb, Jr. of Stafford Springs, CT; one brother, Lawrence Evanoff of High Springs, FL; one sister, Marianne Thomas of Orlando, FL. Also surviving are four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. There will be no service. The family wishes donations to be made to, Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
