Fredia Porter Morse, 82, of Tryon, NC went home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2025 at White Oak of Tryon.

She was the daughter of the late Fred and Mae Owens Porter. Fredia was a devoted mother to her children. She retired from Mohawk Industries after 42 years of service. Fredia previously volunteered for the American Red Cross. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Fredia was a member of Tryon Pentecostal Holiness Church in Tryon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Shelia Rae Porter and Linda Raines.

Surviving are her children, Lisa Morse, Jody Morse (Xan), Brian Morse (Lisa), Wendy Garren (Joey); eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a late date.
