Columbus, N.C. - Lt. Col. Frank P. Rymer USAF (retired), of Tryon Estates, Columbus, NC, died Friday, February 02, 2007. He retired after 23 years of service in the U. S. AirForce. He earned a PHD in education and taught at American University, Washington, DC. Surviving are: his wife, Ivalee G. Rymer; two daughters, Leslie King and husband Alan and children Justin, Bryan, and Abigail; Stacy Borzi and husband Robert and children Derek, Daniel & Kimberley B. Walther and husband Austin. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 in Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church, 2606 Chimney Rock Road, Hendersonville, NC with Rev. Larry Rabon officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Garden at the church.
