Tryon, NC- Frank Coleman Raines, 83, of Capps Road, Tryon, NC, died January 13, 2009 in St. Luke's Hospital, Columbus, NC. Born in Polk County, NC he was the son of the late James and Celia Suttles Raines. He retired from Carolina Yarn after 8 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Ruby L. Raines of the home; two sons, Steve L. Raines of Tryon, NC and John Raines of Mill Spring, NC. Mr. Raines is also survived by a niece and a nephew. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
