MILL SPRING, NC - Forest Dillard Price, 67, of Pea Ridge Road, Mill Spring, NC went home to be with the Lord Sunday afternoon, March 8, 2009 at his home. Born in Polk County, NC, he was the son of the late James "Wat" Watson and Mary Cantrell Price. Mr. Price retired from Hatch Mill in Columbus, NC after 44 years of service. He is a child of the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Pea Ridge Baptist Church in Mill Spring, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and Bruce Price. Surviving is his wife, Sherian Silvey Price of the home; four daughters, Lori Guffey (Phillip), Paula Buchanan, Angie Jenne (Shaun) all of Mill Spring, NC and Missy Picher (Joel) of Landrum, SC; two brothers, Pete Price (Helen) and Herman Price (Carolyn) both of Mill Spring, NC; one sister, June Laughter (Dean) of Campobello, SC. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Ryan, Cheyenne, Hannah and Ethan. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in the Pea Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Mill Spring, NC with Dr. Jeff Parker officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the church. At other times, the family will be at the home.
