Floyd "COONIE" PackLandrum, SC - Floyd "Coonie" Walden Pack, 62, husband of Beth Hall Pack of Dill Circle, Landrum, SC passed away Tuesday May 30th, 2006 in The Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC. Born in Polk County, NC he was the son of the late Floyd and Dorothy Moss Pack. Mr. Pack was a graduate of Polk Central High School Class of 1964 and a graduate of Spartanburg Technical Institute. He was a past employee of Hoke Incorporated, Spartanburg, SC until he was disabled in 2001. Floyd was a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Pack was of the Baptist faith. Survivors including his wife are: a daughter, Marilyn Pack of the home; a brother Billy Pack (Charlotte) of Sunny View, NC; two sisters Doris Price (Marvin) of Pea Ridge, NC and Lillie Mae Green (Clifford) of Tryon, NC. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 1st, 2006 at 12:00 noon in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC.The family will receive friends Thursday June 1st, 2006 from 10:30a.m. until 12:00 noon prior to the service in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
