EVELYN L. WARRINGTONTRYON, NC -- Evelyn Looper Warrington, 81, of Tryon, NC died, Thursday, March 2, 2006 in Autumn Care Nursing Center in Saluda, NC. Born in Pickens, SC she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Looper and the late Eleanor Singletary Looper. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Christ and a member of the Gay Blades Garden Club in Tryon. She was the widow of Harold I. Warrington who died in 1990. Surviving is one son, Ken Warrington of Suwanee, GA, and one daughter, Carol Phillips of Graham, NC. Also two grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2006 in Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC with Rev. Robert Barrows officiating.
