Rutherfordton, NC - Ethel Kathryn Robinson Carter, 98, died Monday, December 08, 2014 in Forest City Health and Rehabilitation, Forest City, NC.Born in McFarland, CA, she was the daughter of the late William Jefferson and Stella Viola Hall Robinson. She came to Polk County in 2002 from Bakersville, CA.Surviving are: nieces, Ruthe G. Henderson of Green Creek, NC and Catheryn Stroud of Copeland, TX and nephew William Gregg of San Miguel, CA.Graveside Memorial services will be held 2:30 Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Green Creek, NC with Rev. Phillip Cochrane and Rev.
