Saluda, NC - Ellen Louise Conner, 65, of Holberts Cove Road, Saluda, died Friday, June 20, 2014 at her home.Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late George Luther and Minnie Sain Conner. She was a self employed truck driver. Ellen was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church, Mill Spring, NC.Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Jerry Conner of the home; 2 step-children, Sherry A. Bradley of Green Creek, NC and Michael Conner of Saluda, NC; three brothers, George Luther Conner, Jr. of Saluda, NC; Lloyd Conner of Hendersonville, NC and HoytConner of Saluda, NC; two sisters, Lettie Fay Gass of Saluda, NC and Rosie Lee Camp of Green Creek, NC. She was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Mae Conner who died in l945.Family will receive friends in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC, Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
