MILL SPRING, NC - Elizabeth Ruff Mills, 80, of Mill Spring, NC passed away Friday afternoon, February 26, 2016 at her home.A native of Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ollie Lawter Ruff. She worked as a beautician and later retired from Hatch Mill as a knitter. Mrs. Mills attended Faith Baptist Church, Mill Spring, NC.Surviving is her husband of fifty-nine years, Edward G. Mills; two sons, Edward Dean Mills (Sandi) of Marshville, NC and Terry Alan Mills (Jill) of Mill Spring, NC; two granddaughters, Sarah and Abby Mills. Also surviving is her beloved cat, Sugar.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC with Rev. Justin Nelson officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.The family would like to especially thank Ashley, Debbie and Pat with Hospice of the Carolina Foothills for their loving care given to Mrs. Mills.
