Tryon, N.C. - Edward J. Wagner, 82, of Tryon, NC and formerly of Raleigh, NC died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 in St. Luke's Hospital, Columbus, NC. Ed was active with the Raleigh Little Theater for many years. He was a long-standing member of the Raleigh Bowling Association and was the recipient of many recognitions and awards. He was inducted into the NC Bowlers Hall of Fame in l999. Surviving are: his wife Kathleen Andrews Wagner; children, Jack Wagner, Betty Kay Henderson, Stephanie Winfield, Edward Wagner, Jr., Karlos Kreiner and Kristine Krause; 7 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2007 in the Congregational Church of Christ, Tryon, NC with Rev. Jim Jackson officiating. Family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church.
