Dwight Piercy Morgan, 74, of Saluda, NC passed away Friday afternoon, August 18, 2017 following a period of declining health.Born in Henderson County, NC, he was the son of Teddy and Agnes Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a dress designer for many years having worked for Ruth Originals in Hendersonville and Butte Knit in Spartanburg. In his later years he was a caregiver. Mr. Morgan attended Tracy Grove Baptist Church in Hendersonville.Surviving is one sister, Patricia M. Cabe of Franklin, NC; two brothers, Paul Morgan (Shirley) of Hendersonville, NC and George P. Morgan of Saluda, NC. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Shepherd Memorial Park, Hendersonville, NC with Rev.
