Dorothy E. Moore, 91, of Tryon Estates, North Carolina, passed away December 18, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Catherine Purcell Kelly and Henry Erwin Wetzler. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, William C. Moore in 1997. She was a 50 year resident of Skaneateles, New York, and also a resident of Naples, Florida. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Skaneateles and Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church in Naples, Fla., a Thrift Shop Board Member, an active member of the Auburn Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Skaneateles Country Club. She was affectionately known as "Mimsie" to her family and friends. She is survived by three children; Marcia A. Guthrie (Jim) of Louisville, KY, David C. Moore (Donna) of Mocksville, NC, and Deborah L. Flannigan (Richard) of Cazenovia, New York. She leaves six grandchildren: R. J. Flannigan of Fabius, NY, Clay Flannigan of San Antonio, TX, Meghan Flannigan of Westminster, CO, Wendy Leigh Moore of Knoxville, TN, David Moore of San Ramon, CA, and Peter M. Corrigan of Lakewood, OH. In addition, she is survived by 7 great-grandchildren, Ethan and Jonas Moore, Ali Evans and Luke Flannigan, and James, Maeve, and Daniel Corrigan. Her remains will be interred in the Columbarium at the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. Services will be private.
