Saluda, NC - Dorothy Corinne Helton, 88, of Saluda, NC passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at her residence.Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was daughter of the late Lawrence and Grace Rolf Diebold. She was preceded in death in 1981 by her first husband George Clarence McManus, her second husband Harmon Helton and her brother William Diebold. Dorothy resided in Cincinnati, Ohio and retired from Proctor and Gamble before moving to Saluda, NC. She attended the Senior Center in Ohio as well as in Saluda. Dorothy was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed. Dorothy is survived by her son, George McManus of OH, and her daughter, Corinne Gerwe of Saluda. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.A Memorial Service will be held in Ohio at a later date.Memorials may be made Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
