Tryon, NC- Dorothy Ann Dalton, 75, of Maple Street, Tryon, NC, died February 21, 2008 in Mission Memorial, Asheville, NC. Born in Havana, ND, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Belinda Moe Arneson. She was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the Navy. She married Robert Dalton in 1954 and was of the Lutheran faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by a grandson in August of 2007 and a granddaughter. She is survived by; five daughters, Cynthia Ann Paulauskas of Orlando, FL, Patricia Lee Szuhay of Orlando, FL, Candace Lynn Van Driessche of Jackson, TN, Susan Marie Elliott of Orlando, FL, Sarah Kjerstine Maravolo of Roanoke, VA; one sister Bonnie Candys Anderson of Webster, SD. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. March 1, 2008 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Rev. Harold Smisor officiating.
