Mill Spring-Donna Gordon Steppe, 85, went to meet her Lord and Savior on April 22, 2026.

Born in Buncombe County, NC she was the daughter of the late Howard Dewey and Dorothy Fullam Gordon. She was a devoted wife, mother, nannie, and great grandmother.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Everette Steppe; and two sisters, Udell Bryson and Mary Louise Harwell.

Surviving is her son, Michael Steppe (Tina); one granddaughter, Sarah Steppe Weatherford (Hunter); one great grandson, Everette Thomas Weatherford; one sister, Mazie Hamilton and a brother, Howard Gordon.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Lebanon Methodist Church, in Mill Spring, NC with Reverend Debbie Toney and Reverend Don Price officiating. The family will greet friends at the graveside following the service.
