Greenville, SC- Diana Dorothy Lewis, 77, passed away at her daughter's home surrounded by family on Monday January 13, 2025.
Diana was the daughter of the late Edward Robert Lewis and Dorothy Virginia Galla Lewis. She was a proud graduate of Boonton High School in New Jersey. After high school, she obtained her associate's degree and went to work as a Master Planner for many different companies during her career. Her career brought her the opportunity to travel, and she lived in many different areas during her lifetime. After retirement she continued to travel to visit family. Diana was very involved with the Lutheran Church that she attended while living in Las Vegas, but declining health prevented her from attending services after she relocated to Greenville, SC. Diana was full of life and enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and life-long friend, Don Blews.
Surviving is one son, Donny M. Blews (Debbie Ann Blews); one daughter, Cheri Weidman (Kean Weidman); three grandchildren, Casey Weidman (Maria), Tani Truel (Tim), and Sari Blews; three great grandchildren, Sophia Weidman, Rose Weidman, Willow Truel and six siblings, Wayne Lewis, Dean Lewis, Valerie Larson, Patty Fleming, Barbara Mooney, Carl Lewis. Also surviving is her feline companion, Charlie.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, North Carolina with Dr. Chris Osborn officiating.
