Columbus, NC,- Mr. David Boyce Wilson, age 61, of Peniel Rd, Columbus, NC died April 28, 2006 at St. Lukes Hospital, Columbus, NC.Mr. Wilson was born in Catawba County, NC, he was the son of the late James Wilburn and Ellen Janey Benton Wilson. He was employed with Mohawk Industries for over 40 years and was a resident of Polk County for over 50 years.Surviving are two sons: David Wilson of Delco, NC and Joseph Wilson of Asheville, NC; two sisters: Betty Laughter of Sunny View, NC and Ethel Rogers of Jacksonville, FL. Also three grandchildren Christopher, Chloe, and Jaden Wilson. He was predeceased by a son Michael Wilson and a brother Olin Wilson.Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, May 3, 2006 in Coopers Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Elliott officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.Visitation will be held 12:30-1:00 p.m. Wednesday May 3, 2006 in the Cooper's Gap Baptist Church prior to the service.
