Columbus, N.C. - Daniel Harrison Peoples, 62, of Lynn Road died Friday, February 13, 2015 at his home.Born in Forsyth County, NC, he was the son of the late Patricia Cottingham and Benjamin Harrison Peoples, Jr. Daniel was a Veteran having served for 16 years in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.Surviving are his wife, Linda S. Peoples, of the home; two sons, Michael L. Peoples (Ashley) of TopSail Island, NC and Jeffrey T. Peoples (Michelle) of Moorehead City, NC; A sister, Carol Peoples Roscicki (Dan) of Snow Camp, NC; two brothers, Lawrence P. Peoples, Sr. (Karen) of Snow Camp, NC and Thomas A. Peoples (Michele) of Liberty, NC; Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and l great-grandson.Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015, 12:00 noon, at Saxapahaw United Methodist Church, 5624 Church Road, Graham, NC 27253 with Rev. Dr. Richard Smyth and Rev. Sue Eldon officiating.Family will receive those that would like to pay their condolences one hour prior to the service at the church, and at other times at the residence of Lawrence & Karen Peoples, Sr., 8012 Pegg Neave Road, Snow Camp, NC 27349.
