Tryon, NC- Constance "Connie" Brown, 72, of Tryon, North Carolina passed away on October 15, 2025.
Connie's career began as a manager for professional color films for Eastman Kodak. In 1988, she left Eastman Kodak to develop her talents in the stock trading industry. Connie became a professional institutional trader specializing in SP500 trading in New York City and Boston, then became a Global Equity Futures Hedge Fund manager for six years. In 1996, she founded Aerodynamic Investments, Inc to advance the field of market cycle timing.
Connie held many professional certifications including Chartered Market Technician (CMT), IFTA Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) and the industry's highest certification as a IFTA Master of Financial Technical Analysis (MFTA).
Connie shared her passion for the financial industry with others. She traveled worldwide teaching seminars and published nine books. Her book, "Fibonacci Analysis" won a Gold Medal in the 2009 Axiom Business Book Awards. She was inducted into the Canadian Society of Technical Analysis Hall of Fame in 2018. Her latest book, "The Thirty-Second Jewel", was released in 2019 and was named by the industry as the primary resource for W.D. Gann's methods, formulas, and time factors.
On November 16, 2021, Connie was locally recognized by the Town of Tryon and Mayor J. Alan Peoples for all of her accomplishments and contributions to the study of financial analysis and to the financial technical analysis industry.
Before Connie's career in the financial industry, she was a world class swimmer. Throughout her life she always had a love for horses and beagles, especially her last two, Sam and Baliey. She also enjoyed taking fencing and she had also taken Taekwondo.
