Colonel Seung H. Kim of Mill Spring, North Carolina, age 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep June 8, 2026.

He was born in Seoul, South Korea where he completed his education through medical school at Korea University during which time he met his soulmate of almost 60 years. After completing his military service, he moved with his family to the US where he completed a residency in Pathology in New York. He then moved with his family to San Antonio, TX where he joined the US Army serving as the Chief of Pathology at the Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston and where he retired with the rank of colonel.  After retirement, he moved to North Carolina with his beloved wife.

He loved Jesus and was a faithful member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, 1 daughter, 1 daughter-in-law, and 2 grandchildren.

He was richly blessed and continues to be a blessing even in his death. We look forward to be reunited with him when Jesus comes again to take us home.
