Columbus, NC - Clint Sellers Edwards, 35, of Columbus, NC died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.Born in Greenville, SC he was the son of Sheila Pierce Jackson and the late Chuck Sellers Edwards, he attended Columbus First Baptist Church.Surviving include his mother, Sheila Pierce Jackson of Mill Spring, NC; his paternal grandmother Maggie Edwards of Columbus, NC; and the late Sellers Edwards; an aunt Debra Ann Pierce of Landrum, SC; and an uncle John Steve Pierce of Landrum, SC; as well his dog Wizzer. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eurl and Kathleen Wright Pierce.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, February 24, 2011 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Capps officiating.Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00pm Thursday, February 24, 2011.Burial will follow the service in Ridings Cemetery, Columbus, NC.Memorials may be made to Foothills Humane Society at 989 Little Mountain Rd. Columbus, NC 28722.At other times the family will be at the home of Maggie Edwards, 105 Park St. Columbus, NC 28722.
