It is with great sadness that the family of Clarence Milton McCall, III of Columbus announces his passing at the age of 72 on October 1, 2024.
He leaves behind his wife, Jennifer Davis McCall; two children, Travis Galen McCall and Christine Dakota McCall; two stepchildren, Courtney Dare Alexander and Camerson Kent Self; five grandchildren and a sister, Rose McCall Hyde.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Milton McCall, Jr and mother, Betty Irene McCall.
Clarence moved to North Carolina from Fredericksburg, Virginia after retiring from the Washington Metro Transit Authority in Washington, D.C. While living in Fredericksburg, Clarence developed a passion for skydiving. He lived life to the fullest at the "Drop Zone" and many of his fondest memories came from the depth of friendships he built there. He became a certified parachute rigger and performed tandem jumps and formation skydiving. In total, he performed over 3,000 jumps.
