Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Parma Candela and Vincent Elie and wife of the late Peter Saputo, Sr. Ms. Saputo moved to Tryon in 2003. Surviving are one son, Peter Saputo of Tryon, NC and a sister, Molly Elie of Detroit, MI. No local services are planned.
