Christine Kellish Horn, 66, of Greer, SC, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, surrounded by her husband and children. She was a devoted wife to Lawrence Horn, mother to three children: Bethany, Whitney, and Nathan, and grandmother to three grandchildren: Wade, Clara Anne, and Simon.

Born in Syracuse, NY, on May 19, 1959 to Richard and Barbara Kellish, she lived a life in pursuit of Christ filled with service to others, generosity, and many adventures with her best friend and husband, Larry.

Christine pursued a degree in Special Education. Throughout her life she used that knowledge and God-given gift to touch the hearts and lives of families and children in need. She was the best educator and mother to her children, and the sweetest Mimi to her grandbabies. Chris will be remembered for her loving sacrifices made for her family and joy in ministry to Spanish speaking special needs children and their families.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC.

Immediatley following the service, the family wishes to invite everyone to a reception at the funeral home.



Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC.

Chris será recordada por sus sacrificios amorosos hechos por su familia y su alegría en el ministerio a los niños con necesidades especiales de habla hispana y sus familias.



Se celebrará un funeral a las 11:00 a.m. el sábado 19 de junio de 2025 en la Capilla Funeraria McFarland en Tryon, Carolina del Norte.



El entierro seguirá el servicio en Polk Memorial Gardens en Columbus, Carolina del Norte.



Después del entierro, la familia desea invitar a todos a una recepción en la funeraria.
