Obituary
Mill Spring, NC- Christopher Vernon Moss, 52, passed away unexpectedly into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
Chris was born and raised in Polk County, NC and was the son of Vernon Walker Moss and JoAnne Knight Moss. Chris was an adrenaline junkie who loved to ride mountain and dirt bikes. He was the owner of Mill Spring Upholstery. Chris was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church and served as Sunday School Director and lead Discipleship Training on Wednesday nights. Chris was a loving father and husband.
Chris was predeceased by his father, Vernon Moss; brother, Larry Bruce Moss and a nephew, Michael Deyton Moss.
Surviving is his wife, Jamie Moss; two sons, Brantley Walker Moss (9) and Andy Ryan Moss (7) both of the home; his mother, JoAnne Knight Moss; and three daughters, Amber Kaye Lantz, Erin Faye Lantz, and Haley Meridith Gosnell.
A funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Silver Creek Baptist Church in Mill Spring, NC with Reverend Rob Hefner and Dr. Chris Osborn officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC.
