Inman, SC -- Charliss Elva Rossi, 73, of Oliver Drive, Inman, SC died Tuesday, January 15, 2008 in Rutherford Hospital in Rutherfordton, NC. Born in Carney, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. and Elva Brewer Davenport. Formerly a resident of West Palm Beach, Fl, she had lived here for the past eighteen years. Mrs. Rossi was a retired Register Nurse and Real Estate Broker with Coldwell Banker Kasey Associates in Hendersonville, NC. She was preceded in death by a son, John Rossi, Jr. Surviving are her husband, John Rossi; three sons Michael Rossi of Atlanta, GA, Louis Rossi of Columbus, NC, and Royce Rossi of Varnville, SC; one daughter, Kathryn Ybarra of Boyton Beach, FL; three sisters, Shirley Hansen of Tampa, FL, Drucilla Pipeling of Brick, NJ, and Sally Kinchley of Saddle River, NJ. Also nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 19, 2008 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel with Dr. Darryl Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC Family to receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the McFarland Funeral Chapel prior to the service.
