Cathy Luther Halford, 57, of Mill Spring, passed away, Saturday evening, July 23, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital.Born in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of Betty Taylor Luther of Columbus and the late Burnice Luther. Cathy retired from Kangaroo Caddy after 30 years of service. She was a member of Mill Spring First Baptist Church.Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband of 37 years, Gary Halford; one son, Christopher Hobson Smith (Toshia) of Dunn, NC; one daughter, Lorraine Hensley (Adam) of Sunny View; six grandchildren, Briar, Blair, Hadden, Hannah, Madison and Avery.No services are planned per her wishes.
