Carol Page Lawrence of Tryon passed away, Wednesday morning February 28
th
, 2024, at upstate community hospice house.
Born in Polk County, she was the daughter of Britton and Lorraine Page. She was a graduate of Eastern Carolina University, and a master's graduate of Western Carolina University. Carol spent many years working as a teacher at Tryon High School and Polk County High School where she deeply impacted the local community. Carol was a member of the Magnolia gardening club. She found solace and joy spending time in her personal garden as well as spending time with her friends and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Carol was proceeded in death by her husband Robert Lawrence and son Justin Lawrence she is survived by a son Britt Lawrence, daughter-in-law Karen Lawrence, brother-in-law Fred Lawrence and 6 grandchildren Skyler Lawrence, Cora Lawrence, Caroline Lawrence, Claire Lawrence, Jameson Lawrence, and Isabelle Lawrence.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening, March 2, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.
