Saluda, NC - Carl Ray Sain, 49, husband of Cindy Badger Sain of Holbert Cove Rd., Saluda, NC died Sunday, May 13, 2007 at his home. Born in Polk County, NC he was the son of Gladys Norris Sain of Saluda, NC and the late Leroy Sain. He was employed by Woodland Mills, formerly Stonecutter Mills, Mill Spring, NC for the past 30 years. Mr. Sain was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church, Mill Spring, NC. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Sarah Jones and Tonya Sain both of Saluda, NC; one son, Travis Sain of Saluda, NC; three sisters, Elaine Price and Kari Ruff both of Mill Spring, NC and Wanda Reynolds of Gaffney, SC; one brother, Timothy Sain of Saluda, NC. Also three grandchildren, Harley and Lisa Jones and Trevor Watts. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, May 16, 2007 in Silver Creek Baptist Church, Mill Spring, NC with Dr. Chris Osborn and Rev. Dean Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family to receive friends from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm Tuesday night, May 15, 2007 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC.
