CAMPOBELLO, SC -- Camilla Nilsen Ewaska Esterling, of 11595 New Cut Rd., Campobello, SC died Friday, January 18, 2008 at her home due to 50 years of smoking.Born in Geneva, OH, she was the daughter of the late Ragnvald and Emma Knott Nilsen.Surviving is her husband, George Esterling of the home. One son, Michael Joseph Ewaska of Sunnyvale, CA. One grandson, Justin Michael Ewaska. Two brothers, William G. Nilsen (Doris) of Madison, OH, and David C. Nilsen (Nancy) of Mentor, OH. Also Mrs. Erma Knott of Soquel, CA, her husband's family in England, her father's family in Norway, 4 nieces, Ms. Paula Nilsen , Mrs. Diane Beebe and husband Chris, Ms. Deb White, Mrs. Brenda Ketring and husband Gary, 1 nephew, David A. Nilsen and wife Iona. 1 niece deceased, Ms. Linda Nilsen. Several grand nieces and nephews both in the U. S. and England and Norway by blood and by marriage, and her dog, a Jack Russell Terrier, Tina.No local services are planned.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Dr., Columbus, NC 28722.
