Callie Wilson Williams, 87, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018, at The Smith Phayer Hospice House in Landrum, SC.Callie was born in Buncombe County, NC, to the late Oliver and Lona Ingle Wilson. As a child, she moved to Polk County, NC, with her family. She was married to the late Nathan Lankford Williams. Callie and Nathan operated their family RC Cola business for 40 years.She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Lankford Williams, in 1994. Callie is survived by one son, Mike Williams, of Columbus, NC; two daughters, Kathy Warren of Columbus, NC, and Katey Williams, of Hendersonville, NC; one grandson, Dustin Warren of Raleigh, NC; one granddaughter, Julia Warren, of Columbus, NC; four great grandsons, Dylan, Zachary, Declan, and Grayson; one sister, Gladys Bailey of Coopers Gap, NC; and one brother, J.C. Wilson, of Mill Spring, NC. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC. A private family graveside service will be held.
