Flat Rock, NC - Burl Farabee Parsons, widow of Clyde Charles Parsons, died Wed., Jan. 19, 2011 in Hendersonville Health & Rehabilitation Center, Flat Rock, NC.Born in Commerce, GA, November 2, 1924, she was the daughter of Scott and Grace Hancock Farabee.Surviving include daughters Alice Wise (Steve) of Beaufort, SC and Madeline Clas (Fred) of Tryon, NC. She was predeceased by her son, Gregory Parsons of Portland, OR. She also has a grandson, Damion Neyrey, of N. Palm Beach, FL and granddaughters Andrea August and Emily Parsons of Portland, OR.Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011 in the Florence National Cemetery, 803 East National Cemetery Road, Florence SC.
