Landrum, S.C. - Bobby Lee Bridges, 69 of 104 West Bridges Street, Landrum, SC died Friday, February 09, 2007 after a short illness. Born in Polk County, NC, he was the son of Jean "Granny" Fagan Bridges of Green Creek and the late Woodrow Bridges and widower of the late Donna Bridges who died in 2001. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina. Mr. Bridges was a retired personnel manager. He was a member of Landrum Masonic Lodge # 278 where he was a past Master and past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star Chapter # 169, Inman, SC. Mr. Bridges was a member of Landrum First Baptist Church. Surviving beside his mother are: two sons, Brett Bridges and wife Kelly of Boiling Springs, NC and Blake Bridges and wife Vicki of Green Creek, NC. Two brothers, Bill Bridges of Green Creek, NC and Jim Bridges of Columbus, NC. Also one grandson, Matt Bridges. Funeral Services will be held Sunday February 11, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. with Masonic Rites in Landrum First Baptist Church, Landrum, SC. Burial will be in Green Creek First Baptist Church Cemetery, Green Creek, NC. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. in Landrum First Baptist Church, Landrum, SC Memorials can be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive,Columbus, NC 28782. The family will be at the home, 104 West Bridges Street, Landrum, SC.
