Beverly K. Orr of Tryon, NC passed away on September 23, 2026 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, North Carolina.

Beverly was born in Chicago, IL and relocated to the Tryon area with her husband Orion Lee Orr who passed away in August of 2006. During her working years, Beverly worked at several nursing homes and South Carolina Elastic in Landrum, SC. She was a member of O’Neal Church of God in Greer, SC.

Surviving is one son, William Lee Orr, of Bakersville, NC; two daughters, Ayvonne Pierce of Landrum, SC, and Renee Lyn Braswell of Bryson City, NC; a granddaughter, Jessica Lee Pierce of Columbus, NC and a grandson, Brent Allen Braswell of Greensboro, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026 at O’Neal Church of God, 3723 N Hwy 101, Greer, SC 29651officiated by Bishop Tim McConnell.
