Mill Spring, NC—Betty Dalton Pack, 85, of Mill Spring, NC passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital in Columbus, NC.Betty was born in Polk County, NC to the late Joe and Aylene Pack Dalton.  She was a graduate of Mill Spring School.  Betty was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Mill Spring, NC.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.Betty is survived by her husband, Russell Pack of Mill Spring, NC; son, Mitch Pack (Diana) of Mill Spring, NC; daughter, Christa Snyder (Larry) of Mill Spring, NC; three granddaughters, Sarah Hinson (Jerry) of Mill Spring, NC, Amanda McCallister (Andrew) of Columbus, NC and Carley Steele (T.J.) of Starr, SC; and two great grandchildren, Ava Hinson and Aiden McCallister.  Also surviving is a brother, Ray Dalton and a sister, Reba Bailey.A funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC.A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.Burial will follow the service at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC.
