Obituary
Tryon, NC-Betty Gosnell Pace, 87, of Tryon, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 4, 2025.
A native of Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Gene and Lucy Burrell Gosnell. She was the wife of the late Marvin Pace who passed away in 1999. Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had an infectious laugh that made others smile. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by, an infant brother and a grandchild, Carla Barnwell.
Surviving is one daughter, Linda Waters Barnwell (Frank); one son, Steve Pace (Janice); four grandchildren, April Thomas (Jacob), Tyler Pace (Natalie), Taylor Brock (Jake), and Annamarie Cannon; ten great grandchildren and a sister, Virgina Gosnell.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Lynn First Baptist Church, in Lynn, North Carolina officiated by Reverend Eddie Duncan.
Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
