Obituary
Betty Taylor Luther, 85, of Columbus, NC passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.
Betty was a lifelong resident of Columbus, NC. She worked at Hatch Mill in Columbus until her retirement. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Betty was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Columbus, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnice E. Luther and her daughter, Cathy Halford.
Surviving is her son-in-law, Gary Halford; granddaughter, Lorraine Hensley (Adam); grandson, Chris Smith (Toshia); and great grandchildren, Hadden Whitson, Hannah Whitson, Madison Whitson, Avrey Hensley, Briar Lusk and Blair Smith.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC with Reverend Brian Wilson officiating.
